Knights of Columbus "Tech Knight" Pictures

The 50th Annual Tech Knight was hosted by the Knights of Columbus this past Saturday evening and I had the opportunity to take pictures of the event for the KofC.

The event raises money for scholarships for Texas Tech. Tickets for the event were $30 and provided the following:

Beer and Barbeque.



Performances by The Goin' Band, Raider Red, The Masked Rider, and the Texas Tech Spirit Squads.

Former Tech Players, Alex Reyes and E.J. Holub were on hand for the festivities.



The Miller Lite Girls helped with the auction.





Former Dallas Cowboy Great Ed "Too Tall" Jones was the evening's featured guest speaker.




"Two Tall" signing two of the seats from the old Texas Stadium that were auctioned off during the evening.

Coach Ruff addressed the crowed and fielded questions.



Ten former Tech quarterbacks were on hand and shared their most memorable moment while at TTU.

New Stadium Expansion Pictures - 8/31/2009

Here are the latest from the lunch hour. Didn't have a lot of time, so I could not walk around the stadium today. Hopefully tomorrow I'll have a little more time.

The seat decking on the northeast corner is probably 90% done, while the pouring of the concrete on the northwest corner continues.

Steel continues to go up rapidly on the east side.
