New Stadium Expansion Pictures - 7/29/2010 Interior Edition

Here is a new group of shots from the interior of the east side building.

They have three of eight of the new mosaics installed underneath the east side stands.

Carpet is going in on the suites on the fifth floor. Ceilings are done in those suites.

The project manager told me the seats will go in around the second week in August.

You can tell they are busting their rears to get the areas that will be accessable for the SMU games done.

New group of shots from exterior of the stadium. A seperate entry will be posted with today's interior shots of the east side building.

Most noticeable thing today is that there is no chain link fence and gate at the southwest corner entrance. It has been removed and they were cutting out the old crowd control railing when I went by at lunch.

Stonework is almost complete on the east side buidling. They were putting the final pieces in places on the southern most tower. The north tower is the only area that still needs the stone put in place.

The concrete floor has been poured for the concession and restroom area underneath the northeast corner section and walls were going up.

The are getting ready to pour concreate underneath the northwest area for the concession and restroom areas.

The parking garage is now 11 stories tall and there is more decorative brick visable on the structure. Utility work has begun on the structure that will sit directly to the east of the garage.
