Stopped by the stadium during lunch and took some pictures of the video board replacement and they were putting in new support beams for the new video board.
Over at the parking garage, they were hoisting the framework for the signs that will go on the south wall of the structure.
The random campus pictures were taken on my way in to work this morning.
Nothing really new to report. The shell of the scoreboard is still empty, but the new video board could be arriving soon because a crane is back in place just east of the ticket office.
They are finishing up work on the mosiacs. They are cleaning them off and also have added a line of the school song under each mosaic. They are still working on this part.
The are putting the large brackets on the walls of the parking garage that will hold canvas for advertisements/pictures/etc.
Here is a small group of shots from the video board replacement and a few from Raider Park.
The video board has not arrived on site yet. They are prepping the interior of the shell for the new board. The sections of the old video board are no longer on site.
Work is continuing on Raider Park and the apartment complex to the east of the garage. They are put large brackets in place for the picture panel on the east side of the parking garage and are welding together the bracket for the south facing wall.
There is still plenty going on around the stadium. The project manager gave me tour of the east side building and there is still a lot of touch up work being done.
The suite owners are encouraged to decorate the suites as they please with Tech items. There are some pretty neat items going on the walls and tables. One company even has put it's logo on a suite wall. I'll let you figure out which company that is.
They still working on the Club Corp area on the fourth level. The whole east side building is docorated with a lot of the pictures from the Southwest Collection that have been posted in threads here.
The project manager also told me the new restrooms and concession areas under the northeast and northwest corners are done. Ovations has to put in there equipment though before they are ready for service.
The photos are a little grainy because I was shooting at a high ISO for the game Saturday and didn't realize I hadn't changed the settings until after I uploaded today's shots.
