Lubbock ISD is rebuilding the pressbox and adding two large buildings at the north end of both the home and visitors stands, and also adding a brand new field house at the north end of the field. They have removed a lot of dirt at the north end and the new field house will now sit at field level.
The parking areas and the field turf was in place before the 2011 season and the major renovations should be completed by the 2012 season.
The stadium is used by Lubbock, Coronado, Monterey, and Estacado high schools.
