Tech Athletics Website Promoting BIG Announcement on Monday

According to the official Texas Tech website, there is a "Big Announcement" of some sort that will be revealed on Monday. Other than that, there is nothing else on the website about this matter.

My guess is, they have reached the fund-raising goal for the east side expansion. My hope is that the athletic department has raised enough to start both the east and north side at the same time. I guess we'll have to wait for Monday to roll around.

Back to the Blog/Campus Update

It's been a while since any updates to the blog was made. Hopefully, my life has settled down a bit and I can be a little more consistent with posts.

There are a couple of noticeable changes going on around the Texas Tech campus. The leisure pool near the Rec Center now has some visible construction going on above ground. Most of the work so far has been below ground level.

Demolition of Thompson Hall has begun to make room for the new Business Administration building on the north side of campus. The new BA will be the first "green" building on campus.

I hope to have a new batch of campus pictures sometime early in the week.

Random Sunday Morning Texas Tech News

Here are a number of stories from last night Texas Tech win over Nevada. The Red Raider defense pulled this one out by holding Nevada to four field goals and one touchdown outside the red zone. I apologize for the lack of content the last couple of weeks as I've had some things take place that have kept me off the internet. Hopefully, I can return to a normal routine here in the near future.
